Got my new Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, which go on sale November 1st, and LOVE them!! They are the perfect marker to use with the Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper (item 144180). By using the dark colors with the light colors, or with the color remover, you can create texture or shading. Edges are easy to blend and “feather” out to create a watercolor effect. The new Blendable markers are going to re-inspire you to start coloring…again!

This card shows some simple blending techniques using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers in the watering can and the flowers in the upper left corner. Keep an eye out for more projects using these fun new markers!

Holiday swap card

This is a card I made for a swap I participated in. I used the Carols of Christmas Bundle from the Holiday catalog. I used Real Red card stock for the main color, with accent colors from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Paper, Merry Little Christmas Card stock, and Whisper White card stock. Embellishments included the silver metallic thread, silver glitter, and pearl basics.

…I’m back!!

After almost 10 years, I’m back with Stampin’ UP! as a demonstrator, and this time to stay! I’m no longer a hobby stamper! I have so many ideas to share with potential customers I think my brain is going to explode! Well, maybe not, but you get the gist.

While trying to set up my blog I have been busy getting my crafting room in some kind of order as well as getting some of those new ideas made and some classes planned out.

Over the next couple weeks I will be uploading my new creations here, along with the items I used to make them along with some quick directions. I will also post upcoming classes that I will be offering for both my local customers as well as my long-distance customers (sorry, but those directions will be kept for classes).

Occassional videos will be uploaded as well, so y’all can watch me (OMG!) make some interesting projects with all my newly gotten goodies as well.

So, if y’all enjoy paper crafting as much as I do, click the “follow me” button and subscribe to my blog, or join me in my Facebook group (just answer a couple questions and I’ll add you), and let’s get the stampin’ party started!
