Last Chance for June’s Christmas card!

Today is the last chance to order your first Christmas Card by Mail and start preparing for¬† that last-minute Christmas Card rush in December! Remember, with this class by mail, you’ll get supplies to make 20 cards along with 20 envelopes, with the Big Shot items already done for you. All you will need to do is color, stamp and assemble your cards with your own choices and adhesives…it only costs $20 (btw, that’s only $2 per card for a beautiful handmade Christmas card that you can honestly say you made yourself!) plus shipping. (For those of you that don’t have the stamp set yet, the wood mount set, $28, as well as the clear mount set, $21, are also available for order, just let me know which one you prefer so I can get it for you along with your class supplies.)

Here is a preview of what the Christmas card for June will look like…sort of since the finished product will be slightly different once it’s colored and finally decorated.

I hope it inspires you start getting creative ideas for your Christmas cards. Oh, and this stamp set will have a Halloween project coming up in September, so it will get double duty ūüôā ūüėÄ ūüôā

Please send your class order to asap so I can get you into the last remaining spots before the window closes at midnight EDT. Time is running out!

As always, stay creatively stamping!

Are you?

Are you someone who loves the look of handmade Christmas cards? Are you someone who wishes you had more time to get them done? Are you someone who wishes you had inspiration to create them? Or are you someone who just doesn’t like the hassle of making all those cards all at once, then all of a sudden it’s December and it’s too late to make a bunch of cards last-minute?¬†Here’s the solution: start making your Christmas cards now, a few at a time…10 to be exact…with my Christmas Card Classes by Mail.

Here’s how it works: Every month, I choose a stamp set to use for the class by mail, I do most of the hard work (meaning whatever needs to cut, done on the Big Shot, or the like), and all you have to do is the assembling with your supplies from home! Basically, the class includes 10 cards, comes right to your door ready to assemble, complete with matching envelopes, and you get to assemble everything when you’re ready using your supplies (your ink, stamp set, markers and adhesives). I even send you a completed card to follow so I don’t have create a PDF or video. Best of all, by the time Christmas comes along, all your Christmas cards will be finished and ready to mail out (or ready to address and then mail out, depending on how much preparation you’ve done ahead of time).

So, how much is this going to cost me (the question that is on everyone’s mind when something sounds too easy!!)? The best part about my classes by mail is I really don’t charge much. For all the supplies necessary for 10 cards, 1 completed card to follow along with, the class costs $20 a month, plus shipping.

Next question going through your mind…no, you don’t have to sign up for EVERY class. Choose the ones you want, or choose them all. Each Christmas Card class by mail is $20 per month. If you need any other supplies, such as the stamp set, please let me know when you place your order for the class so I can order the stamp set and send it out with the rest of the class supplies.

If you are someone who absolutely loves the look of handmade Christmas cards, and would love to have some ready for this coming Christmas, this is the perfect way to get them completed and ready to go! Contact me asap so you get started with your Christmas cards now!

This month’s Christmas Card Class by Mail will be using the stamp set called Seasonal Chums.¬† (I will be doing a Halloween class by mail with this set later in September as well.) Here’s what this set looks like:

June 18 Stamp CITM

If you need the stamp set, wood mount set is $29.00, cling mount is $21.00. Although there is a matching framelits die set, unless you want to purchase it as well you will not need this for my class. I will have all your items die cut for you. This class will have 5 snowman cards and 5 reindeer cards.

Class fees are due by the 15th of each month, and supplies will be shipped the last week of each month, but since things are starting a bit late, I will make an exception for this month. Class fees, if interested, are due by the 20th, and supplies will be shipped the first week in July.

Drop me a quick email at asap if you are interested in this month’s Christmas Card Class by Mail, and if you would like the stamp set (wood or cling mount) as well, so I can send you the paypal link.

As always, stay creatively stampin’

Who ever said Stampin’ UP is just for cards???

As you well know, Stampin’ UP’s alcohol markers are the best in the industry, at least in my opinion. Well, let me fill you in on a couple of bits of information that most regular stampers might not know. Classic car and street rod enthusiasts absolutely love to have mock ups of their “dream cars.” Just ask Chip Foose and he’ll tell just how much lol. Those mock ups are hand drawn, colored with alcohol markers, and then presented to the client as a memento from the designer/upholsterer/artist that created the newly designed car or street rod. Having just stated this information, I wanted to also pass along some news that might help some of our demonstrators. My DDF (dear darling fiance, in case many of you were wondering what that meant) is a street rod upholsterer, and specializes in custom interiors. He needs to make mock ups for his customers, and sometimes these mock ups take multiple attempts (both with his customers as well at the drawing board) to get the perfect look. He just did his first mock-up with MY SET OF STAMPIN’ BLENDS (instead of his own alcohol markers)!!!

So, now with the color revamp in the new 2018 catalog, the Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker collection is larger and I will be able to not only meet my own color needs but my fiance’s color needs as well. It also means I will also have to keep more Whisper White Thick cardstock on hand for him so he can create his one of a kind mock ups for his clients, and so I can continue to use it for my projects. Not only do I absolutely love Stampin’ UP’s alcohol markers, but my fiance has taken over my workspace for his coloring needs! I can’t wait to see all the finished mock ups that get created with Stampin’ UP’s Stampin’ Blends!

If you know an artisan who loves to create their works of art with alcohol markers, send them on over to get a set of Stampin’ Blends¬†(pg 205)! They can’t go wrong with a full set of the markers, and as an independent demonstrator who uses them all the time myself, I can’t recommend them enough for those special products.

I hope this little tip helps many of you stay creatively stampin’ as always!

…to June, our monthly Blog Hop, the new catalog launch…and sooooo much more!!! I am so excited to finally introduce you to Stampin’ UP’s new catalog! With great new color lineups, wonderful new products, and a goodbye to some of my favorite colors, this new catalog year will bring some fantastic project ideas, starting with a Christmas card class beginning with this month (June…and details will follow).

Despite the busy schedules here, there is always time to create beautiful projects. Here’s a card made for a birthday swap that uses one of the new In Color colors called Blueberry Bushel. It also uses Whisper White cardstock. The In Color line up is so pretty with 5 new colors to last over the next 2 years, I think you’ll love them as much as I do! With this card I used Blueberry Bushel cardstock, ink, and ribbon. I also used the new Painted Glass stamp set, which looks like stained glass pieces, the Label Me Pretty stamp set, and the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper.

Here’s another card I made using products from the Share What You Love Suite, and a few other products. I used the Painted Glass stamp set, and the Garden Impressions DSP as well. The base of this card is on Blackberry Bliss, one of my old favorites that is part of the color revamp (oh I’m so in color heaven with this catalog!!), which goes so perfectly with not only the Garden Impressions DSP but the Share What You Love DSP as well. I also used the¬†Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Black Ink, the¬†Pearlized Doilies, Mint Macaroon cardstock, and the¬†Silver 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon.

To see the entire color revamp that’s included in the new catalog, click here to watch a short video that describes all the changes. Not only are the old In Color group retiring (2016-2018), but as I mentioned before, the new group (2018-2020) of In Color inks, papers, markers, and accessories are introduced. The retiring colors as well as the new colors are introduced, and the returning favorites are also announced!

And for those of you who missed ordering your own Stamparatus, it’s now available!! Don’t wait to get this amazing tool! I used it to create each of the cards above! One of the issues I have always had was not putting enough pressure on my stamps to create an evenly inked image, so I would either have to re-stamp and hope I could realign the image properly, or just re-stamp the image on a new piece of cardstock. Now, with the Stamparatus, I can re-stamp the image as many times as I need to without having to worry about ghost images or wasting cardstock! The Stamparatus lines up my stamped images perfectly each and every time!! If you want to know how, just send me a quick comment by clicking on “Contact Me” at the top of the page. I’ll help you place your order and walk you through your first use of the Stamparatus! I just know you’ll come to love it just as much as I do.

I hope you are just as excited as I am to see all the new and exciting products in this new catalog. If you can’t wait to get started on projects of your own, stop by my webstore and place your order for any of the products above, or any of the new products you see in the brand new 2018 catalog. I hope you enjoy browsing through the pages as much as I do!

For more ideas and projects from the new Stampin’ UP catalog, check out the other blogs in this month’s hop. Just click on the button below, or follow the next links below the button. Remember if you get lost, just hit your back button until you arrive back here at my blog and then follow the links to wherever you want to be. If you want to let me know you liked any of the projects shown on this or any of my other posts, please click the “Contact Me” button at the top of the page. It’s that simple! Enjoy the hoppin’, and I “hop” you get plenty of inspiration for the new catalog!

Enjoy the suite bundled sale, and as always, have a creatively stampin’ day!

That’s right!!! There’s only 6 more days until the new 2018 Annual Catalog arrives, bringing new and exciting products to your door…and mine!! June 1st is the launch day for the NEW 2018 Stampin’ UP Annual Catalog, and I am so thrilled. Joining the mix of exclusive colors, there will be brand new colors to explore, as well as a couple of¬†returning favorites. I can’t wait to start using Blackberry Bliss again!!

One of the many changes you might notice is the new ink pad case! It’s a bit smaller in size, but it’s the same great ink pad on the inside, and it’s sooo much easier to open! The new case opens just like a compact does, so no more push-slide-flip to get to the ink pad! YAY!

There are plenty of new stamp sets to replace the retired sets, as well as new framelits.¬† and new bundles, too! I have already pre-ordered some of my favorite things from the catalog, and can’t wait to start with classes again!

Oh my goodness! I hope you are just as excited as I am about the new catalog, and are looking forward to another fun year of creatively stamping with me!

Have a safe and happy Memorial Day!

Hopping around Mother’s Day

Country INKers Blog Button Resized

It’s May 1st, and it’s time for another blog hop! This month’s theme is¬† Mother’s Day! There are so many great ideas hoppin’ around blogs this time of year that I thought I’d do something a little different. I took part in my group’s monthly “card guts” challenge, which I always try to do. Here’s how it works: my Stampin’ UP upline gives each of us who sign up a card base along with some cardstock scraps and has each of us make a card. The one rule is that we must use all of the pieces she sends us in some way. We are free to add to the collection if we choose, things like embellishments or ribbons or even additional cardstock. Call it an imaginative creative challenge, but it really gets me thinking outside the box every single month, and I absolutely love it! Since I knew the blog hop theme was Mother’s Day, and I still hadn’t been able to complete my challenge (yep, it was already April 29th, and the pieces were STILL sitting on my craft table in the envelope screaming at me), there was no better time than the present to complete two tasks with one challenge. So open the envelope I did…and squealed with delight! Inside the envelope I found a mini note card, a piece of Whisper White cardstock, a piece of starburst punched vellum, a 1 1/4″ punched DSP, a strip of black cardstock, a strip of DSP and a piece of DSP 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 ” (Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper: Dinosaur Print/Yellow Dotted, Camera Print, and Green Weave Print). When I saw the dots, I thought of a Cheetah with reversed spots…I know, it’s silly, but it worked! I used the vines from the Petal Pair Embossing Folders to create “grass” on the Whisper White cardstock piece and then sponged it with Old Olive¬†ink. I used the Fox Builder punch and the DSP to create my “cheetah”, glued it to an extra piece of black cardstock and cut it out. Then, I glued everything together. I also used Whisper White Pigment ink to stamp Hello on the black strip, using Sunshine Sayings stamp set. Here’s the finished card:

Here are a couple other projects I’ve been working on this past week. You can always tell what mood I’m in by the color combinations I use. The theme for my birthday card swap seems to have narrowed down to black as the major color. Despite that, the cards turned out beautifully. Here you see how black can show off any color and just make it “pop”!

I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit to my blog today, and have gotten some cute, useful tips for creating your cards this month. Please visit my store to purchase any of the items used for making the projects listed above. Changes coming!!

It’s almost the end of April, which means Stampin’ UP has posted the list of retiring products, and soon the new catalog will be out! YAY!! In the next couple weeks, I will be able to start showing projects made with the “Share What You Love” products, which is one of the new suites from the 2018 catalog. I can’t wait to show them to you all!!

One of the changes you’ll see is some new colors, and some returning colors…but that also means that some of the current colors will be saying good-bye. When you take a look at the list of retiring products, you may see a long list of ink pads. Don’t panic, it’s just a revamp of the cases. Most of our favorite colors are sticking around for yet another year!

Just to get you super excited about the new catalog, and so you know what to look for when it comes in the mail (if you have placed at least a $30 order with me, it’s free, if not, go to my store and place your order on June 1st), here’s a preview of the cover:

Here’s the retiring products list so you can¬†click here to be taken to my store to place your order. Remember to check out the clearance rack while you’re there since you might find some great deals (up to 60% off) while you’re looking!

April Blog Hop means Spring is Here…

Country INKers Blog Button Resized

And Sale-a-Bration is officially over! I hope you were able to get your favorite items before the close of the sale because all the free items are gone for now. That means we get to focus on the yearly catalog again, which means lots of great choices, colors, and coordination.¬†Despite the seemingly nice weather gradually rolling into the area, this has been a crazy week for me, from computer problems to celebrating birthdays to medication backfires to starting new treatment routines…among other things. With that in mind, I decided to rehash one of my favorite cards I made as a challenge called “card guts”. I had a lot of fun making it, and think it turned out cute. It still represents Spring to me. Let me know what you think.

April Hop

In this card you see the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and matching Detailed Dragonfly Framelits, Whisper White, Old Olive, and Lemon Lime Twist¬†card stock. The ink is Basic Black, and in the middle of the black dots, which were made with the 1/2″ circle punch, are some Basic Pearls. While there are a couple retired products in this card, it’s still a cute card. Great substitutes for the retired DSP would be the Color Theory DSP or the Petal Garden DSP.¬†An excellent replacement for the ribbon would be the Pick A Pattern Washi Tape, in Black of course, and using some Black card stock with A Wink of Stella, or maybe even some silver glitter held in place with the Fine Tip Glue.

This is a super easy, super quick card that is perfect for any Spring occasion! If you like the idea of this card, or any of the other projects on my blog, stop by my store and shop around. I look forward to becoming your Stampin’ UP demonstrator and sharing my ideas with you.

For more wonderful Spring ideas, hop on over to the next blog, which is Diana’s, by clicking on the button below. If you get lost along the way, just hit your browser’s back button until you get back here, and then follow the links below.
