With Sale-A-Bration coming to an end soon, there is still plenty of time to see projects, such as the card above, that are made with stamp sets that are featured in both the Occasions Catalog as well as in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog (where you get to pick your free stamp sets or free accessories with a minimum $50 order). The card above was created with the Bubble Over stamp set and the matching Bottles and Bubbles Framelits Dies, which are found in the Occasions Catalog. The papers are Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla, Bubble and Fizz Designer Series Paper (free with a $50 purchase from the Sale-a Bration Catalog), and the Foil Frenzy Paper (from the All Occasions Catalog). I also used Memento Black ink pad, Mini Dimensionals, and the Metallic Enamel Shapes in gold to finish up the card.
My youngest son had a birthday recently so I made a cute gift box and card for him. For those projects, I used the Truly Tailored stamp set and matching True Gentleman Designer Series Paper, which are featured in the Occasions Catalog. I used other items that are found in the Truly Tailored suite as well, such as the True Gentleman Buttons, True Gentleman Cardstock pack, and the Tailored Tag Punch. These items are found on page 45 of the Occasions Catalog. Those items alone come to a total of $72 ($64 if you order the clear mount stamps instead of the wood mount stamps), which qualifies for 1 free $50 Sale-A-Bration item! But hurry because the Sale-A-Bration is only around until March 31st.
Here is the gift box and the card I made for my youngest son.
The gift box was the perfect size to hold a little bottle of his favorite (?) liquor, which at 28, his taste can vary from mom’s at times. Oh well, I guess that’s what happens when kids grow into adults!
Here’s the card, which “explodes” out of its box when it’s opened. It held the other gift, which was a leather key chain I made for him as well.
Both the gift box and the card used the same stamp set, Truly Tailored, and the rest of the items listed above from the Truly Tailored Suite. The remaining items I used to make both projects are Very Vanilla cardstock, Dimensionals, Tranquil Tide ink pad, Multipurpose glue, Big Shot, Linen thread, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Large Letter Framelits, and the Stampin’ Trimmer. I also used the Little Letters Framelits (which are retired) to do some of the lettering on the card.

I hope you enjoyed the projects posted this week, and since the bugs that kept me from posting pictures have been worked out, look for more projects using Sale-A-Brations sets and other items as the sale winds down.
