First Attempt

As promised, I am trying out new ideas and posting new cards. Here is my first attempt at a window slider card. I liked the original card that I saw on another demonstrator’s site, so I thought I would give it a go! Not sure I like the color scheme I tried, but I will keep trying to refine my attempts. Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think. The colors I used were Pool Party, Whisper White, Real Red, Garden Green, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Versamark, and Rich Razzleberry. The stamp sets are Carols of Christmas and Labels to Love, two of my favorite sets from the Holiday catalog. It seems that the more I use them, the more I love them. I used the Layering Circles Collection Framelits to make the cutouts instead of punches as the original demonstrator did. Hope you like what I did and get inspired to try new projects.
