Paper Pumpkin and Sale-a-bration

I have always enjoyed getting my Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail. I love that everything I need to create cute projects comes in one little box, and every month is something different. Right now, with Sale-a-bration in full swing, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions can earn free merchandise out of the catalog…3, 6, and 12 month prepaid subscriptions all qualify for Sale-bration merchandise!!

Prepay for a 3-month subscription, and you can earn the Beautiful Peacock stamp set! Or one of a number of other items from the catalog!

Not sure what Paper Pumpkin is all about? Watch a quick 90 second YouTube video to find out why I love my monthly shipment! Once you’ve finished watching, head on over to the Paper Pumpkin link on my website to join in on all the monthly fun, and earn your Sale-a-bration goodies, too!

Sale-a-Bration Birthday Card

While this card used a variety of stamp sets, it does use one from the Sale-a-bration catalog, even though it only part of the set. I used the text from the Beautiful Peacock set, found in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I am becoming more and more fond of the sets in the Sale-a-bration catalog as well as in the Occasions catalog because they are so fun and versatile. Enough chat…here’s the card:

Delightful Daisy/Beautiful Peacock

When creating this card, I used Beautiful Peacock and Delightful Daisy stamp sets, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and Delightful Daisy Designer Series Papers, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive Garden Green and Soft Suede Inks,  Basic Rhinestones, Daisy Punch, and Dimensionals. The Daisy punch made creating the 4 layers of the flower quick and easy to put together. The butterfly is inked with the “rock-n-roll” technique, which is one of my favorite inking techniques.

Quick, simple…and cute.

Here’s another quick and simple birthday card that I put together.

This card is created using Butterfly Basic stamp set, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Easter Palace Designer Series papers, Pacific Point and Old Olive inks, fine tip glue, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Scalloped Edge Tag Topper punch, Basic Pearls, and 1/8″ Silver Ribbon, and Snail adhesive. Dragging the Very Vanilla card stock across the Old Olive ink pad gives the edges of the paper some “texture” so it stands out from the Eastern Palace paper.

Creating the pocket for the tag makes an interactive card sure to please anyone who receives this card.
